Finishes

• Satin Black - This is a black powder coat that has a soft appearance. It is less shiny than a semigloss finish.
• Platinum - Our platinum racks are given their finish by a process of being brushed, then nickle plated, and then coated with a clear lacquer. This process creates an appearance similar to brushed steel.

Our wine racks are simple to install using a standard level, a wine bottle and a screwdriver. With some mounting surfaces you may also need a drill. All of our wine racks come with detailed installation instructions. VintageView® wine racks can be installed into drywall, rock, brick, wood or just about any other surface.

REQUIRED SPACE (Side-to-Side)

Most 375 ml bottles are 9½” long & require 10” per column. Mount 5.5” from center to center
Most 750 ml bottles are 12” long & require 13” per column. Mount 7.5” from center to center
Most 1.5 liter bottles are 14” long & require 15” per column. Mount 10” from center to center

Calculating the amount of racks that can fit in a given space is simple. Take the length of your wall in meet and multiply by 12 to get the lineal inches. Divide this number by 13 (if you are planning to store standard 750 ml bottle) and round down to the nearest whole number.

This will give you the amount of racks you can fit from side-to-side. If you are planning to double-stack your racks then double the number above for a total amount of racks on a particular wall.
