When and Where to Plant:
Select a sunny or slightly shaded location and plant outdoors, in well drained soil after all danger of frost is past, or during the summer for blooms the following year. Cultivate soil and firm over seed, keeping it moist. Nick or file seed coat lightly, or soak seeds in water overnight before sowing.
Care and Storage:
Remove old flowers. Much to preserve moisture, cool roots and to protect from severe winters. Store extra seeds in a cool dry place. Heat and moisture severely reduce germination.
