We purchased a vacation home in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and had a major infestation of grubs/beetles that destroyed my newly planted garden and established lawn. I applied Milky Spore two years ago to the gardens & the lawn, and have not seen one beetle this summer. We are reseeding our lawn and will reapply Milky Spore to the new soil we've appended ... and the perennial plants have all come back ... beetle free! Great product, but be patient. It might take a couple years to fully work, but then it's good for 10 - 15 years. Reviewer: - 08/18/09 We have used Milky Spore for many years to control japanese beetle grubs. It hurts a little to buy what we need every 8 to 10 years to treat our large lawn but is worth it. One application lasts many years and it doesn't harm birds or other critters. We were told at first that it wouldn't work so great in our climate of upstate New York but they were wrong. Works great! Reviewer: Kathleen G Armstrong - 05/12/09 |
