When and Where to Plant:

Select a sunny location with well drained soil and plant after the soil warms. For earlier harvest, start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before outdoor planting time. For constant supply, plant in 3-4 week intervals. Soil should be cultivated, enriched, firmed over seed and kept moist.

Care, Harvesting and Storage:

Allow soil to become moderately dry between waterings and feed monthly. Cut back and use the tops of stems throughout the summer, and then the whole plant when it blooms. To dry, hang the plants in a shady, well ventilated place. Store in airtight container. Leaves may also be frozen. Store extra seeds in a cool dry place. Heat and moisture severely reduce germination.
